Tai Cha Fan 大茶飯
It is not that difficult to find Taiwanese restaurants in the neighbourhood of Tseung Kwan O; and Tai Cha Fan is just one of them. This restaurant offers not only the traditional Taiwanese braised minced pork over rice but also the local cuisines such as fish maw soup with rice. Their signature deep-fried pork ribs does not look as nice as the image on the menu and the food in overall did not impress us. However, we do think this is a great place to go to if you want something big and quick at the same time.

WHAT THE PHO
Having Vietnamese Pho is always a good choice if you want to eat something moist and rich in flavour. Their smoky pork jowl with noodle soup tasted good but the pork jowl was a bit tough and chewy. Their service was excellent but the serving speed was way too slow. We do not recommend eating at this restaurant unless you have plenty of time. Otherwise, it is still a good restaurant for all of you to try at least once in your spare time.

Sham Tsai Kee 深仔記
Cha chaan teng is definitely a type of local restaurants that you shouldn't miss while you are in Hong Kong. And Sham Tsai Kee is absolutely a good one for you! This restaurant has no service charge for everyone. It is relatively cheap comparing to any other restaurants inside the same shopping centre. Their veggie rice set meal was fantastic as you could choose different side dishes from deep-fried chicken wings and Phoenix claws to pork knuckles and beef. It is another great place for you if you are in a hurry!

Mom's Dry Noodle 老媽拌麵
If noodle soup isn't your cup of tea, perhaps you should try dry noodle from Mom's Dry Noodle! Their signature spicy dry noodle with pork knuckles was very tasty; the set came with a bowl of salad and a soup; the portion was huge but it is a little bit pricy, too! Don't worry if you prefer having rice instead, since you can choose to upgrade your main from dry noodle to rice. How convenient is that?

Don't Yell at Me 不要對我尖叫
This eatery only do takeaway and it is a wonderful place for those who look for a quick bite and a delicious guilty meal. Our osmanthus oolong tea with peach gum tasted as good as we expected. This bubble tea shop do not only offer quality bubble tea drinks but also waffles with lots of different flavours such as savoury seaweed meat floss and tiramisu. We ordered them twice in a week since their waffle was so fluffy to be resisted!
