September Schedule: How to Make a Travel Plan

Sometimes a travel plan can save your life and absolutely make your day. Even travelling without an actual plan could be a great plan for someone, too. No one would certainly want to waste their holiday, therefore, plan it well before your trip is gone! In this article, we are going to show you how we make a travel plan and things we prepare for our trips. Let's get started! Bon Voyage!

Research

The very first step of making a good travel plan is to do research. Whatever your plans; be it travelling in style with a private jet card or backpacking through Europe or Asia, you will need to be prepared. From return flight tickets and luxury hotel accommodation, to high rated restaurants and top sights to see, everything you need to know about the destination you are going to can be researchable. We highly recommend that you read travel guides from some travel websites and bloggers, hmm like us Well Voyaged, before you start making your plan. So you get a sense of what to eat, where to go, things to do while you are there.

Prepare a Bucket List

A bucket list is a list of thing that you'd like to do before you die so you don't regret it. Keep it handy so you are ready to do so at anytime, anywhere! Depends on where you are going to, some activities such as bungee jump, skydiving and snorkelling are usually something that everyone'd love to put them in their list. If you are not adventurous enough, visiting one of the new seven wonders of the world Taj Mahal in India once in your lifetime could be a nice one, too.

Create a timetable & itinerary

Now you know what you'd like to do before you die; you should start making a plan and list out all the activities and locations you will be doing and going to in your trip. It's not necessary to set a specific time slot for each activity but it's always a good idea to find out the business hours of the places you will be going to in case you'll miss them out. Always remember to make a reasonable and possible itinerary for yourself. Don't rush yourself; you should enjoy your trip!

Set a plan B

Travel is not about how much you've missed in a day; it's about how much you've seen in the day. In case you spent more time on the previous activity, try to skip something that you are okay to live without. Your plan B should always be in hands and very flexible to make changes.

Pack your Stuff

Once your travel plan is ready, you could start packing up your stuff into your backpack or suitcase. There are a lot of things that you could pack for your trip. But always remember, less is more! Don't overpack for your trip or you will end up having no extra spaces for your gifts and souvenirs, and carrying a super heavy luggage home! Pack what you need; for example, don't forget your swimsuit if you are going to somewhere with a beach, or a waterpark.

Enjoy & Have Fun

Last but not least, "Enjoy & Have Fun" is definitely the key of travelling. Don't stress out if you can't follow the itinerary. It's just a travel plan, technically an ideal reference for your trip. You surely wouldn't have less fun without a proper travel plan. So sit back, relax and enjoy your holiday like you've never gone on one before!
